What is EmpowerRF?
EmpowerRF is a comprehensive non-surgical platform delivering life-changing women’s treatments. What made you decide to purchase InMode’s Empower RF?
“I decided to purchase the Inmode Empower RF platform because I see so many women experiencing different cosmetic and medical indications, and it allows me to treat a range of cosmetic & gyno concerns. The fact that this is a complete all in one women’s health technology (top to toe platform) that hasn’t been seen before offering an array of non-invasive treatments that complement one another to then being able to offer some minimally invasive technologies, was the big WOW for me. The RFAL technology using the Aviva handpiece is a game-changer on the Aesthetics of the labia. It is a non-surgical, minimally invasive option for labioplasty that can be an in-office procedure, with minimal downtime.
All women as we age lose the fat pads on the labia majora (after weight loss or after pregnancy when the skin was stretched, and after menopause when we lose oestrogen). Filling the labia majora up with fillers will never be enough (4 ml filler at a time x 2 sessions will never achieve what you can get out of Aviva+ Morpheus) since the main issue was skin laxity (over volume). RFAL just solved that issue for me. Also with fillers, there’s a risk of vascular occlusion.
The good reviews on Morpheus8 on the face and body are so encouraging. Having the Morpheus8 V in the platform to rejuvenate intravaginally, and on pubis and labia is so exciting. What do you feel is the most significant issue affecting women’s health today and how would Empower RF seek to address this?
“There has always been a stigma around urinary incontinence, that women should just accept our fate of having bladder issues. We have become used to the symptoms, that we do not know what is normal anymore. We are actually suffering in silence. We tend to adjust our lifestyle around the problem. This impacts heavily on every woman’s quality of life.
Most practitioners have difficulty asking women about urinary issues, as women tend to close up, and never volunteer that they leak unless it is severe. Do you feel Empower RF is a game-changer for the women of Australia currently experiencing postpartum, stress incontinence, weakened pelvic floor to menopause?
“Postpartum, patients need their body to go back as close to pre-pregnancy conditions as much as possible. The pelvic floor muscle weakens after childbirth. There’s abdominal muscle separation as well. Empower RF is a gamechanger in offering the EMS intravaginal and abdominal in one machine. Patients can get it done at the same time.
The same is true with postmenopausal changes. With the loss of oestrogen, pelvic floor muscle weakness can cause undeniable leaking that makes treatment necessary. We can avoid unnecessary use of intravaginal oestrogen hormone cream during menopause, by a combination treatment of RF, Fractional ablative RF Morpheus8 V and V-tone to rejuvenate the vagina and tighten the pelvic muscles.

Who is Dr Elizabeth Golez?
Dr Golez has cared for Women’s Health and Wellness for almost 25 years. She is a Cosmetic Doctor and a GP Obstetrician. She is also a key opinion leader for InMode on women's health.
She has achieved a Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017. Since then, she has Visiting Medical Officer rights as a GP Obstetrician in Southern New South Wales Local Health District.
